Stellenbosch is
the main city in the Wine District of Western South Africa . The area
around the city is all covered with wine yard estates (and areas of housing
for so called "informal settlements"; homes for the black labor
population, mainly speaking Xhosa.)
The whites speaks Afrikaans or
English as do mostly of the mixed-races.
